Sigh… typos. They’re unavoidable, no matter how many times or many people look over a document. C’est la vie, or rather, este viață. This post is for those of you who have purchased a cookbook, either from me directly or one of my distributors, prior to May 2021. Here are a few typos I’d like to address so that you don’t run into any cooking disasters and are able to fully enjoy the recipes. Please note: If you’ve purchased a cookbook after May 2021, these changes have been made in the book directly. Depending on when you purchased, not all typos may be present in your copy.
Varza A La Cluj, page 145 // oven temperature should be 350° F.
Salam De Biscuiti, page 160 // 1 ½ tablespoons of water should be 1 ½ cups of water.
Chec, page 178 // some of the ingredients are jumbled, should be:
-1 T vanilla extract
-1 c vegetable oil
-¼ t kosher salt
-2 c granulated sugar
-1 c milk
-2 c all-purpose flour
-2 T baking powder
-4 T unsweetened cocoa powder
-1 zest of lemon
Pasca, page 183 // three eggs for the dough, one yolk for the egg wash; vanilla should be added in Step #2.
Fursecuri Piersici Umplute, page 210 // makes 18 cookies.
I want to sincerely apologize that these errors slipped through the cracks and that your copy of the book may have this dip in quality.
