The beauty of vintage is that there’s no shortage of things to go around. Well, technically there are, since vintage items tend to be one-of-a-kind, but new things are being offered and becoming vintage every day, which is why I’m happy to share another top 5 vintage finds I love, the sequel to Top 5 Vintage Finds I Love.

001. Ironstone Mug Made in Romania (1970s)
Trust me, if I didn’t already have an overflow of mugs in my collection, I would have purchsaed this one in a heartbeat. There’s something so alluring about the dramatic, but warm, colors and the serenity of the scene with birds flying over a field. Its shape is also unique, at least when compared to those I already own. Basically, I love everything about it.

002. 4×6 Vintage Romanian Kazak Design Rug (1970s)
I’m not sure why, but I’m really feeling the 70s, apparently. This 4×6′ rug has a very similar vibe to the mug above it, but I think the addition of the harsher blacks give it a touch more visual appeal. It’s on the smaller side for rugs, but would look lovely in an entranceway!

003. Vintage Romanian Ceramic Vase (1970s)
Staying in the 70s, I just love the handmade touches to this vase. Everything about it is rustic and homey and absolutely perfect for a bouquet of wild flowers—featuring poppies, of course!

004. Vintage Commodore Blown Glass Christmas Tree Ornaments Set of 5 Romania (1950s)
Tis the season! And these ornaments remind me of some that my grandparents had on their Christmas tree when I was growing up, so I knew they’d make this list as soon as I stumbled upon them. They’re shiny, as Christmas ornaments absolutely should be, but they also have the handmade touches to them. I might actually have to pick myself up a box for the next holiday season!

005. RARE** VICTORIAN** 18K Yellow Gold ~ Rose Cut Diamond Earrings – Collectable from Romania (19th Century)
So, these are definitely a splurge, but they are diamonds, so that’s something to take into account. Honestly, I kind of want them for the box alone. They’re dainty and elegant, vintage but a modern chic. Not within my budget but whoever does make this purchase is a lucky fellow or lady indeed!
